2022 World Championship Cheese Contest
2022 marks the 34th biennial World Championship Cheese Contest®, the world’s respected and honored technical cheese and butter competition, hosted by the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association!
We invite you to submit your quality cheeses, butter, yogurt, and dry dairy ingredients to the contest for expert technical evaluation and to compete for prestigious awards and global recognition.

2022 Champion Announcement
Mark your calendars now and join us on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. (CT) for the live announcement of the 2022 World Champion Cheese!
The 2022 Contest will be closed to the public, but each day – March 1-3 – fans of great cheese can follow along on social media for exclusive interviews with judges and competitors, a behind-the-scenes look with industry insiders, and much more. Following two and a half days of rigorous technical evaluation, the Contest culminates with the 2:00 p.m. announcement March 3 of the Top 20 cheeses in the world – and the winner of the prestigious World Champion title.
The livestream will be available on our website and on the World Championship Cheese Contest Facebook page.
2022 WCCC Judges
This year’s judging team includes cheese graders, cheese buyers, dairy science professors, and researchers with more than 700 combined years of experience in the dairy processing industry.

Results
Contest results will be available at the end of each judging day on March 1 and 2, 2022. Results for completed classes will be uploaded on our results page here.
MyEntries© users can view their scoresheets in their accounts after results are posted. On the homepage of the user dashboard, access and view scoresheets under “Your Most Recent Results”.

MyEntries©, our unique online entry system, is your personal, secure contest worksite for the Championship Cheese Contests of the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association. This site includes online entry; permanent storage of each year’s entry data; instant product scores and scoresheets.

Entry Shipping Information & Deadline
- Entries must be sent in their original, manufactured form.
Products should not be cut from their original size (unless otherwise noted in contest rules). - Products may be sent with or without branded packaging and labels.
- Each entry needs to be in an individual box. Multiple entries may be shipped together in one shipping container, but each entry should be individually boxed and clearly marked with their specific Contest Shipping/Identification Tags.
- Shipping Tags (Contest Product Identification Tags) should be printed from your MyEntries account.
Each entry has two tags:
- Outside Shipping Tag: tag for exterior of the individual entry box
- Inside Shipping Tag: placed inside with the product
- The Contest partners with WOW Logistics and Wisconsin Aging and Grading Cheese to receive all contest entries and hold them in cold storage for judging. Entries need to be received by Wednesday, February 16, 2022.
- The exception to this delivery date is for fresh products. Fresh products need to be delivered by Wednesday, February 23.
